I have, just for fun, recorded a review of Luke Burrage's novel Minding Tomorrow, borrowing his own podcast book review concept.

Hey, good job! I listened all the way through.
Suggestions: mention that the listener can download the mp3 at the podomatic site, or even better, include a link to the mp3 on the blog post along with links to the author's site and where the book can be purchased.
I look forward to the next one.

Yeah true, I forgot about the download option at the site. Also, I had little to no idea what I was doing anyway, but if I do another one, I'll have a better understanding of it. It was surprisingly NOT easy and straightforward just to record and upload the thing. First, I was puzzled as to what application to even use on my computer to make a voice-only (as opposed to video) recording, and then once that was figured out, I ended up with an mp4 file but podomatic seemed to need it to be mp3, or at least I THINK that's why it wouldn't accept my first attempt to publish it. So I ended up downloading some new freeware specifically to convert it to mp3. I think I now know easier ways through all this, so it should be no problem in the future.
